About me

My name is Agnieszka Niemczyk — I am a psychologist, anthropologist, and IFS therapist. I was born in Warsaw and spent most of my life there. Since 2019, I’ve been living in Barcelona, which is slowly becoming my second home.

I hold a master’s degree in psychology from SWPS University in Warsaw, as well as a master’s degree in cultural and social anthropology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. I am also a graduate of the Level 1 IFS course at Instituto IFS. Since October 2025, I have been taking part in an integrative training in humanistic psychotherapy at the Carl Rogers Institute. During my psychology studies, I also completed a training course in sex education at the Foundation for the Promotion of Sexual Health.

In addition to my formal education, I have extensive informal experience in peer counselling, which allowed me to work on myself and learn how to accompany others in their own processes. Since July 2025, I have been participating in the Construyendo Desde Adentro Project, offering IFS sessions for peace activists from Central America, while also running my own private practice in Barcelona and online. I am currently in the process of certification as an IFS practitioner and work under supervision.

For me, therapy is an attentive form of accompaniment. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where the people who come to me can get to know their inner world, find balance within it, and as a result, lead a more harmonious and fulfilling life.

I believe that our personal experiences are deeply interwoven with systemic conditions. My practice is LGBTQIA+ friendly, and I warmly welcome people who are in transition or considering transition. I also enjoy working with individuals engaged in activism.

In my free time, I enjoy cooking, making jewelry, and reading non-fiction.
